it has definitely been a fun week. also a funny week. holly and i spent a lot of time with friends, and a lot of that time included our friend nate. well, apparantly he still wasn't sick of us yet and so he offered us free brewers tickets for friday night!
nate works for one of the state senators who was hosting an event and had a few extra tickets. it was really fun, even if holly isn't the biggest politics fan. the evening started with a birthday "bash" catered meal for the senator and holly definitely liked that part. (the sign really does say birthday bash!)
side note: next to our pavilion was a big tent with a band. the band offered to play happy birthday for the senator so we wandered over there for that. turns out it was a party for the WICPA group (yup, a group of accountants) and everyone in the band was actually an accountant! so funny. definitely thought of my dad and all my whitewater accounting friends. can't wait to see you guys form an accounting band. ;)
