tomorrow, i'm hosting a bridal shower for my soon to be sister-in-law. that involves a fair share of work. some of it is done. the invitations were made and sent out. the games were chosen. the menu is planned.
now we need to prepare the food, decorate the room, wrap the gifts, and more. some moments it feels like a lot. other moments it feels fun. and then there are times where i'm just going to set it all aside and go do something else. like enjoy an afternoon walk on the farm.
it wouldn't be a walk without the dogs. so of course they all came. molly is in the back. she is the real farm dog here. she loves to run next to the four wheeler, bark at the cows, and keep my grandma company. the other two just like to pretend they are farm dogs. they looooove the farm. they love to run and not be on a leash. they like to explore the fields and try to figure out what those big black and white things are that don't bark back at them are. they like to get treats from grandma and sleep curled up on a lap.
even when this one is being bad, like running too far ahead and not listening to you, its hard to be mad for long when he turns around and looks at you like this...
too cute right?
i love the farm too. it is one of my favorite places to be. for most people, a farm would probably represent work. dirty work. hard work. never-ending work.
and it is a lot of work. but it is also peaceful. and beautiful. and fresh. and fun. and an adventure. and a lot more. my grandma loves vistors. so anytime you want to go, let me know abd we'll go, or just show up and grandma will take care of you!
