this will be a short update because, to be honest, i have no idea what holly did all day. i'm guessing a lot of playing with adorable dundore kids.
i had a good day. here is a picture of the view from the school where cathy is teaching summer school just to make you all jealous. enjoy. ;)
cathy had to teach this morning, so i worked on a top-secret project for a little while and then i went to meet her at school and we had lunch at chick-fil-a, did a little shopping, a
nd hung out at barnes & noble for the afternoon. it was spectacular. cathy & i bought the same sweater (we are allowed to do that now that we don't live together anymore and run the risk of wearing them on the same day in the same place!) so i included a picture of that as well. it was only $5!
there is a picture of the two of us is with cathy's dog sadie (the black one that cathy is holding on to) and riley, a dog they are watching for some friends (i'm holding on to him).
michael made some amazing stir-fry and then cathy & i went to a zumba class at the YMCA. i have never done zumba before, but had heard it was fun, so i went with cathy. i got to meet some of her good friends and they all greeted me with a hug and a "oh my gosh! you're miranda! i've heard so much about you!" pretty funny. in case you are wondering what zumba is, here is an example from youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tm7DyRjtWRc&feature=fvst
other than feeling like i looked ridiculous (which i did), it was pretty fun! kind of similar to jazzercise, which is being offered at the staff conference that i'm heading to tomorrow. ;)
anyways, we came home and michael had made us fresh brownies (good thing we worked out!). he's pretty great like that. we played a little settlers (i won of course) and ticket to ride (michael won that, i need a little more practice at that one).
that was pretty much it for today. heading to fort collins tomorrow for the staff conference and to see holly on her birthday! yay! happy birthday holly!
