access idol

i love my lifegroup.

lifegroups are small groups through my church here in madison. my group consists of around 12 people who are in their 20s and mostly single. it is a super fun group and i look forward to wednesday nights every week.

most of the people in my lifegroup also attend access on thursday nights. access is the 2o-somethings group at church. they meet on thursdays for discussions, worship, speakers, and fun. i usually don't go. it used to be because i had bible study and primetime on campus, but now i've been busy with support calls and appointments, so i don't usually go. but this week i made it a priority to go. this week they were doing something special...

access idol!

they made a great play on american idol and showcased some great talent. there was real talent, like the guy who played his own composition on the piano, and funny talent, like the girls who lip-synched NKOTB and learned the entire dance! so great.

greg, one of the guys in my life group did the napoleon dance, moon boots and all.

dharma (the singer) used to be in our life group and now leads his own group. he and some friends showcased their rock band talent. :)

and finally, as a filler while they counted the votes, my friend nate participated in a small skit. nate is the other leader for our group. he might be regretting doing the skit now, but we all enjoyed it!
