learning about basketball

so a few posts ago, i wrote about how my roommate gets all these great deals to badger sporting events since she works for rec sports on campus. well this time she found a great deal on milwaukee bucks tickets for when they played the indiana pacers (my roommate is from indianapolis). the game happened to be on our friend stephanie's birthday, so we decided to go to hang out with her on her special day.

the thing is though, i don't actually know all that much about basketball. both basketball and hockey are winter sports and we know which one has dominated my life for far too many winters! so i had a good time, but i still would pick watching a hockey game any day! ;)

holly (my roommate) enjoyed cheering for the pacers in the middle of a bucks crowd and even made a friend with the seemingly only other pacers fan!

besides the fact that we came to milwaukee on her birthday, stephanie loved catching a free t-shirt, even though free t-shirts are always big enough to be a dress!
