Mom turns the big 5-oh!

dad returned from his business trips, my brothers came home and grandma & aunt sheryl were still here, so we all went out to celebrate mom's birthday at a grill your own steak place. in the words of my grandmother, "why would i want to fix my own food if i'm going out to eat?!" haha. good thing we had dad along to fix most of our steaks!

this "50" has made the rounds from wedding anniversary, to dad, and now to mom. he was very excited to have found it in the basement!

mom even got a gift from "baby gehrke"! my brother & sister-in-law are due in june and we can't wait!

it was a fun evening and we all had a good time celebrating mom!
