missed adventures

life got away from me and i realized i hadn't shared about a few recent adventures! i'm going to try to remedy that this week.

a few weeks ago, holly's sister heather came to visit. heather had come up in june and enjoyed her visit so much, she just had to come again! ;) so this time we decided to mix it up a little and take her and our friend stephanie to the farm.

i love the farm.

heather got to experience her first corn maze at one of the apple orchards we visited:

and wasn't too impressed!

we walked through the fields to the top of the hill to enjoy the spectacular fall view. of course we were following my little cousin reis, who proceeded to stomp through every cow pie he could find. oh little boys.

before we left on sunday, i took the girls for a walk back through the fields on my grandparents farm. of course the dogs wanted to come with too! so our group ended up being 4 girls & 5 dogs! so funny...
