saturday in the cities

there are days when i love facebook status updates.  today is one of those days.  thanks to a status update, i was able to find out that my friend sarah was going to be in the cities this weekend.  sarah was my roommate at new staff training last summer and she lives in fargo right now while she is raising support, so we rarely get to see each other.  but as things go, we happened to be in the twin cities on the same weekend!  so after a flurry of wall posts and phone calls, we ended up having a great afternoon together!  it was sooooooo fun.

after dropping sarah off again, jennifer and i took holly to her favorite spot.  the mall.  :)

of course we took her to the mall of america, so it was a little different than any other mall she's ever been to.  our first stop was to take her on a couple rides at nickelodeon universe (formerly camp snoopy).  then she was in a good enough mood to allow us to put lots of girly clothes on her.  ;)  she even bought a purse!  it was a successful trip to the mall with holly!
