well, since i don't know anyone in appleton yet, other than my parents, i decided to head to milwaukee friday night to see marisa & jess!
marisa was back home for a visit and brought her new boyfriend with so we could meet him! will was very nice (bonus points for the southern gentleman move of sending her mom & grandma flowers before he arrived!) and it was fun getting to know him a little. it was of course wonderful to spend some time with jess & risa. we laughed a lot at sam (jess & dan's almost 2-year old son), ate some glorious chinese food, and i entertained everyone with the long version of my summer drama. the boys came away with a new understanding of the way girls' minds work i guess.
it was a fun night and i can never get enough of sam calling me randa in his cute little voice!
p.s. aren't we looking good in this pic? can't wait to meet collier baby boy #2 in a couple of months!
