If you want to be a Badger...

on saturday, i was able to take my roommate holly to her first badger football game.  since she works on campus for rec sports, she was able to get free student section tickets from a couple of the students who work in her office.  holly is a big football fan, but she pays more attention to the NFL than college football.  so this was a rather new experience for her.  it was so fun!

here we are enjoying ourselves in section P of the student section!  it was cold, but we survived.

holly caught on quickly to all of the cheers, even if she decided to change some of them to fit her own thoughts on what was appropriate for a badger.  this is her doing her "badger chomp"

we were able to find some crusade students to go to the game with.  i was able to hang out with a few of the girls who were in my Bible study last year.  here i am with two of my women, Anna & Dana, who are now juniors and are leading their own Bible studies and facing the problems of trying to get freshmen to come to events!  :)

here i am with erika, who was in my freshman bible study last year.  she just got back from her summer project reunion and is having fun leading the community team, helping the students have some fun and bond as a group.  she is so great!

of course, it wouldn't be a football game without Bucky and his pushups.  holly was very glad he stayed far away on the field and didn't come up in the stands to try and dance with her like he did when we went to the varsity band concert a year and a half ago!

it was a surprisingly close game, but the badgers were able to pull it out in overtime, after pj hill ran this touchdown in.  good thing they won, otherwise it would have been a little silly to have paid them half a million dollars to come and play us!  ;)

it was a fun and exciting game to be at and super fun to introduce holly to the wonderful world of big ten badger football!
