yikes. i leave in about 8 hours for florida. new staff training here i come!
i'm excited and nervous. excited to hang out with friends, meet new friends, spend some time learning and growing, etc. nervous to be away from mom during her chemo, i'm probably forgetting things i need, missing friends & events, and just a little nervous about a whole new environment. i think i know myself pretty well and know what i need to do to feel comfortable and confident, but to actually act on that and get as much out of these 5 weeks as i can will be a new step.
i will write more once i'm down there, but keep praying for safe travel, for an open heart and boldness.
